The Trace Awards and Summit 2025, held in Zanzibar from February 24-26, celebrated African and Afro-descendant musical excellence, with Rema and Tyla among the winners, and featured a summit focused on the continent's creative industries.
It is another time to watch Zaba do his thing on the scene. Last year, he put in good work, appearing on some impressive releases that dominated the airwaves. Now, he is out with new music.
Zaba collaborated with Dlala Thukzin on the song “Konka”. He also contributed to Thukzin’s “Mama Wami” and “iStofu”, and alongside Mpura, Tee Jay, Sir Trill, ThackzinDJ & Josiah De Disciple appeared as a featured act on the song “Izitha” by Nkosazana Daughter. His efforts have been very well received on the scene.
