Stamina Shorwebwenzi is a prominent Tanzanian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Morogoro, he has established himself as a leading figure in the Tanzanian hip-hop scene, celebrated for his unique lyrical flow and socially conscious lyrics.

He is a member of the hip-hop duo Rostam, alongside Roma Mkatoliki, and has also pursued a successful solo career. His music often blends traditional Tanzanian sounds with modern hip-hop beats, and he uses his platform to address social issues such as inequality and poverty. He has released several critically acclaimed albums, including “Mount Uluguru” and “Paradiso,” and has collaborated with a wide range of top artists from East Africa, including Professor Jay, Roma Mkatoliki, Jux, and Maua Sama. Some of his most popular songs include “Subiri Kwanza” featuring Nacha, “Asiwaze” featuring Atan, “Safina” featuring Barnaba, and “Baba” featuring Professor Jay and One Six. He is also a political activist.
