Willy Paul, whose real name is Wilson Abubakar Radido, is a well-known Kenyan artist, singer, and songwriter from Nairobi. He is the founder and CEO of Saldido International Entertainment. He initially rose to fame as a gospel artist and was even named the male artist of the year at the 2013 Groove Awards.
Over the years, Willy Paul has transitioned into a secular musician, blending various genres including Afro-pop, Bongo Flava, and Dancehall. This shift has sometimes sparked controversy but has also led to a number of popular hits. He is widely known for his collaborations with a variety of artists, both within Africa and internationally. Some of his most recognized songs include "I Do" featuring Alaine from Jamaica, "Njiwa" and "Hallelujah" featuring Nandy from Tanzania, and "Mmmh" featuring Rayvanny. He has released several albums, including "Beyond Gifted" in 2024.
