Man Fongo, whose real name is Aman Hamisi Kibwagale, is a Tanzanian Singeli musician, writer, and dancer. He was born on February 15, 1992, in Dar es Salaam. He began his career in 2006 as a street DJ, and officially started singing Singeli music in 2010.

Man Fongo is widely recognized as a pioneer who played a significant role in bringing the Singeli genre from the streets to the mainstream music industry in Tanzania and beyond. His breakthrough came in 2016 with the hit single “Hainaga Ushemeji,” which made him the first Singeli artist to top various music charts. He holds the record for being the first Singeli artist to win an award in Tanzania, having been named Best Upcoming Artist at the 2016 EATV Awards. He also holds the record for being the first Singeli artist to perform outside of Tanzania.
