Innocent Didace Balume, known professionally as Innoss’B, is a Congolese singer-songwriter, rapper, and dancer. Born on May 5, 1997, in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, he is widely regarded as a pioneer of the “AfroCongo” music genre, which is a fusion of Congolese rumba, indigenous folklore, and ndombolo.

He began his music career at a young age and gained early recognition after winning the Vodacom Superstar contest in 2010 at just 13 years old, which led to a collaboration with Akon on the song “Up and Away.” He has since established a successful solo career, releasing numerous popular singles and albums. His most notable songs include “Yo Pe,” “Olandi,” and “Achour.” He is also well known for his collaborations with a variety of artists across Africa, including Diamond Platnumz on the “Yope Remix” and Yemi Alade on “Lipeka.” In addition to his music career, Innoss’B is a philanthropist and has partnered with the World Food Programme to advocate for nutrition and education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
