G Nako

George Sixtus Mdemu, popularly known as G Nako, is a Tanzanian rapper, stylist, and designer. Born in May 1983, he is a prominent figure in the country’s hip-hop scene and a founding member of the music group WEUSI. He is known for his unique rap style, which blends traditional African rhythms with contemporary hip-hop beats.

He has a vast discography of songs, including “Komando” (with Diamond Platnumz), “Hapo” (with Zuchu), and “Gusanisha” (with Maua Sama). His albums include KITIMOTO Minitape and Make You Dance. His recent releases include several singles from 2025, such as “Okay,” “Go,” and “Hapo.”
