Davido & Focalistic – Champion Sound
Still basking on their success in London, where they both shut down the YAM festival while performing on stage, Davido and Focalistic are following up Ke Star remix with another potential hit banger titled “Champion Sound”. The new song is a fusion of Amapiano and Afrobeats.
It is no news anymore that Amapiano is gradually penetrating the international scenes and the pioneers are at the forefront. Mr JazziQ, Major League DJz, Kamo Mphela and more were recently seen commanding a big crowd in the United Kingdom. However, artists from Nigeria and other parts of Africa are not jumping on the South African sound. Amapiano is the future with the look of things as it keeps getting the support it needs.
Davido, who has dominated the international stage with songs like Fall, Jowo, If, and many more, is now joining Focalistic to put an even brighter spotlight on Amapiano, and they are doing so through collaboration; they have announced a joint EP earlier this year, and the project is currently in the works. Champion Sound might be one of the songs to expect from the announced project. Neither Davido nor FOcalistic has announced the release of “Champion Sound”, but the song somehow made it to the internet, and we have decided to share it. Check it out below.
