Nyimbo Mpya za Mbosso

Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi (born 3 October 1991), better known by his stage name Mbosso Khan is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter born in Kibiti, Pwani Region, he is currently based in Dar es Salaam and signed under WCB Wasafi record label.

Mbosso is a popular Bongo Flava (an amalgam of American hip-hop and traditional Tanzanian music) artist known for his percussive guitar playing and emotive vocals.

Mbosso (born Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi) got his start in the boy group Yamoto Band before embarking on a successful solo career in the late 2010s. He achieved popularity in 2018 with chart-topping singles like “Jibebe” and “Hodari,” and saw his career gain even more momentum after signing with Diamond Platnumz’s record label WCB.

In 2020, Mbosso issued the singles “Tamba,” “Haijakaa Sawa,” and “Tamba Magufuli.”
